            Abstract :
This paper proposes an approach to implementing fuzzy controllers which is based on their modularity and a dynamic adaptation of a modular structure using internal fuzzy (meta-) control. The meta-level makes fuzzy decisions intended to adjust the total behavior of a controller by assigning an appropriate set of active components. The paper describes an underlying modular structure, presents a fuzzy-based description for “composite” control strategies, and reveals some special features of their implementation
