Abstract
In this paper, the laminated Archimedean spiral antenna was proposed for improvement of the antenna gain. Both the printed normal and the laminated Archimedean spiral antennas were fabricated, measured and compared in radiation pattern, axial ratio and antenna gain. It was confirmed that the half power beam width became narrow and the antenna gain was improved with the spiral antenna having the laminated structure proposed here.
