  • Abstract
    In this paper, a new online detection system for dry-type air-core reactor is built to inspect inter-turn short circuit faults and a new fault detection method is discussed. The online detection system consists of five units, filtering unit, devices protecting unit, data processing unit, isolation unit, and human-computer interaction unit. Following the discussion of the measuring hardware, a software realization of this online detection system is described in detail. Thus, the experimental and simulation results will be offered to verify the effectiveness of the proposed system.
