            Abstract : 
In this paper, soft-switching bi-directional DC/DC converter using a LC series resonant circuit is proposed. A proposed converter consists of adding LC series resonant tank in a conventional bi-directional DC/DC converter. The proposed topology performs soft-switching at both buck and boost operation. Through the theoretical boost and buck mode analysis, ZVS operation is explained. Also characteristics of the proposed topology are verified with simulation results, experimental result and analysis of operation modes.
