Abstract
Array-code identification tags are generalized 2D bar codes that can be read from a large distance with an image processing system. The array-code identification tags, a prototype array-code system, and typical array-code applications are described. The algorithms and performance of the prototype system are outlined, and generic features of the technology are discussed.<>
