Abstract :
Summary from only given. The fiber-embedded disk was made in a spiral mode fabrication by a square fiber laser with Nd-doped fiber core. The disk is available for the planer waveguide which can propagate the pumping power. The fiber disk laser keeps the same principle as the double clad fiber lasers as follows. 1) The lasing beam is confined in the fiber core. 2) The pumping power is also confined inside the planer waveguide. 3) The cooling efficiency is very good and it is a half of the typical fiber lasers.
