Abstract :
(1-x)PbFe0.5Ta0.5O3-xPbTiO3 (PT) solid solution systems were prepared by a solid state reaction method. With increasing PbTiO3, the phase transition temperature Tc linearly increased, and the corresponding dielectric behavior changed from a relaxor ferroelectrics to a normal ferroelectrics. One of them, the relaxor behavior of the 0.8PFT-0.2PT ceramics with x = 0.2 were observed at Tc = 64degC. The ferroelecreic P-E hysteresis loops of the ceramics still remained above the Tc. The dielectric relaxation and ferroelectric relaxor behaviors were investigated.
