  • Abstract
    Band-pass filters with transmission zeros-at finite frequencies are implemented using λ/4-resonators in microstrip technology. The finite transmission zeros are brought about by open-ended stubs which also provide the correct values of the impedance inverters to achieve the desired in-band return loss. The admittance inverters are implemented through distributed coupling in parallel coupled λ/4 microstrip lines. A second-order filter with two finite transmission zeros is designed to demonstrate the validity of the approach.
