Abstract :
An introduction to the procedure, and manipulation, of data transmission, utilizing UNIGRAPHIC, WORKBENCH, and ANSYS software. Combining the advanced technological functions of each, a bulk-cement delivery tank will be used as a model to exemplify the diversity of this procedure. First, a three dimensional model of the bulk-cement delivery tank, will be generated through the use of the UNIGRAPH 4.0 software. The input model will then be transmitted into the WORKBENCH software, Thereby executing the pre-processing by defining the attributes of the model. This model will then be subjected to the ANSYS software for critical analysis of its physical, and structural attributes. Application of this method will decrease the design engineer´s workload, thus saving design time, and at the same time the quality, and versatility of the design is enormously improved.
