Abstract :
In this article, the achieved development is presented of a software module of data acquisition in real time using the ModBus protocol named Subsystem of Data Acquisition of the Digital Electro-Hydraulic Control and its integration with the New Data Acquisition System of the Integral System of Process Information, being it a system that achieves monitoring and calculation functions, it is used for the backup in the operation under normal conditions as well as emergency ones in the two units of the Laguna Verde Nuclear Power Plant. It was developed using C++ programming language under Linux platform and the different techniques of programming being used are explained, such as the multiprocessing and multithread, process synchronization (semaphore and Mutex), shared memory areas, communication on TCP/IP, etc. Likewise, the functions that the subsystem achieves are shown, such as data acquisition, monitoring of states, failure detection, and mistake control.
