Abstract :
NaNbO3 -based piezoelectric ceramics NaNbO3 -LiNbO3 -SrTiO3 have been synthesized by conventional solid state sintering method, and their dielectric and piezoelectric properties have been studied. The dielectric, piezoelectric, and electromechanical properties of 0.86NaNbO3 -0.09LiNbO3 -0.05SrTiO3 ceramics were found to be the cubic-tetragonal phase transition temperature (Tc) = 280degC, dielectric constant epsivs = 166, piezoelectric coefficient d33 = 53 pC/N, and electromechanical coupling factor kt=0.45 or more. The ceramics is a good candidate material for lead-free piezoelectric ceramic resonator application.
