Abstract :
Planar near-field systems have been used to test an antenna with 1° beam-width and -55dB side-lobe, where the FSLL (first side-lobe level) precision is ±5.0dB. However, broad beam-width and low side-lobe antennas require more strict proceeding. In this paper, such an antenna is investigated by planar near-field measurements (PNFM), with emphases being laid on the influences of sampling spacing on the aliasing and random errors.
