On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I am honored to welcome you to attend the 2012 International Conference on High Voltage Engineering and Application (ICHVE 2012), which are organized jointly by Chongqing University, China, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China and Mississippi State University, USA. The ICHVE 2012 will be co-organized by China Southern Power Grid Co. Ltd. (CSG), and supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and Henan Electric Power Research Institute. The conference is technically co-sponsored by IEEE Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation Society (DEIS) and Chinese Society of Electrical Engineering (CSEE). The ICHVE 2012 will be held in Shanghai, China on September 17–20, 2012.
