Abstract :
We have researched the key functional and operational support architecture in IP-based packet voice and video (V2) telecommunication services. This paper summarizes solutions to a number of challenges that the telecom industry has to answer in order to rollout carrier-grade services capability with mass-market acceptance. With a main focus on incorporating the architecture solutions and feature capabilities, we have developed next-generation V2 over IP telecom solution architecture with interoperability and transformation as the key objectives. Advantages of our architecture solutions include meeting legacy service expectation, providing distinctive network and service management, as well as facilitating across telecom industry integration with a uniform approach.
