  • Abstract
    A novel analytical method to assess the stator natural frequency(NF) for axial flux permanent magnet(AFPM) machines is presented in this paper. And then the result of analytical assessment and actual measurements are analyzed and compared. Finally, some conclusions are drawn, and the feasibility using this analytical method to predict stator natural frequency of axial flux permanent machines is illustrated.
