Abstract
The traditional simplified flux linkage method needs the single phase conduction by turns and current chopping control method as its preconditions. However, the single phase conduction by turns results magnetic coupling between the turn-on and turn-off angle of the system, adversely, realized optimal efficiency or minimize torque ripple in the sensorless speed control system. So the improved simplified flux linkage method was proposed, in which the turn-on angles can be given arbitrary and have no relations with the turn-off angle. The proposed method only needs to fixed turn-off angle and utilize the current chopping control method. So with the proposed method, the position of the turn-off angle can be determined and the speed and rotor position can be estimated. Finally, the experiment platform of SRM sensorless speed control system was built. The simulation and experiment results driving by DSP confirmed the validity of the proposed method.
