Abstract
This paper proposes a new dual-band planar inverted-F antenna (PIFA) with three radiating resonators for mobile phone application. The Ansoft HFSS is employed to perform the design of PIFA at GSM-900 and DCS-1800 bands. Simulation results of the designed antenna agree with measured input-return loss SII. Measurement also indicates that the bandwidths of the proposed PIFA are larger than other published data as the influences of the plastic case and operator´s hand are considered
