Abstract
A rotation invariant property is deduced in the multicarrier vertical Bell labs layered space-time system (MC V-BLAST) by introducing some redundancy in the transmitter. A direct decoding algorithm using the direction of arrival (DOA) matrix method is proposed to directly detect the original transmitted symbol without knowing channels state information (CSI). This method does not require the number of receive antennas is more than that of the transmit ones. Simulation results demonstrate that this algorithm improves the BER performance 5-7 dB when BER is 10-2.
