Abstract :
Because accurate measurement of water content in crude oil plays an important role in the extraction and processing of oil, a measurement system of the water content in crude oil which based on LS-SVM is designed in this paper. This design uses LS-SVM algorithm which have a relatively high speed to establish the mathematical model. The coaxial cylinder capacitance sensor is adopted which suitable for measuring the water content of the liquids department. CAV424 integrated chips will convert the electricity capacity into voltage signal directly. And the voltage signal would be sent to a single chip microcomputer. A real-time cleaning device is also installed, which improves the measurement precision and accuracy. Experimental results show that the relative error is 3% of the measurement. The system has advantages of simple structure, fast response and strong applicability.
