Abstract
In the last few years, many studies, concerning monitoring and simulation of intensity of electric field generated by mobile telephony plants of mature networks, demonstrated that it is possible to lower the exposure limits, excepts exceptional and limited cases. Other recently studies concerning the use of alternatives technologies showed the possibility to reduce the exposition of the population, adopting microcellular networks without compromising the coverage standards for the mobile telephony service. We propose an approach that integrate network planning and emission control, with the purpose of optimisation of the coverage and the minimisation of the human exposition to the electric field generated by the plants.
