Abstract :
In this paper, a control system which is fed by indirect matrix converter (IMC) for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) based on fuzzy PI is proposed. Firstly, the configuration and working principles of indirect matrix converter is introduced. Secondly, PMSM close-loop control system based on fuzzy PI is designed. The fuzzy PI controller performs more satisfying transient response than PI control. Lastly, the simulation results are illustrated, demonstrating that the design of an indirect matrix converter PMSM drive based on fuzzy PI is better than that based on conventional PI.
