Abstract :
This paper is geared to the research focus of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) problems between ultra wideband (UWB) and other radios suggested by ITU. First, the reliabilities of several airborne radio receivers in the presence of time hopping pulse position modulation UWB (TH-PPM UWB) interference are analyzed quantitatively from the aspect of power spectrum. Second, the mathematical expressions of the reliabilities characterized in terms of the receiver´ s signal noise ratio (SNR) or bit error rate (BER) are presented. At last, the influence of TH-PPM UWB modulation parameters variation on traditional narrowband receivers is studied.
