Abstract :
A new technique based on blind identification has been developed for the dynamic characterization of high voltage impulse measuring systems. It is formulated in terms of the extended Kalman filter and, in contrast with existing methods, it allows the identification of the dynamic performance in similar conditions to those of normal operation, i.e., at high voltage level.
