            Abstract :
This paper addressing a relay selection scheme in two-hop cellular relaying networks. An optimization problem based on the relay station (RS) selection is proposed to achieve the maximum network throughput. To satisfy the more rigorous quality-of-service (QoS) demand, both the Signal-to-Noise-Rate (SNR) and scheduling delay are considered with the cross-layer design idea. Considering the effect of lower layers, our proposed RS selection algorithm can obtain a good bandwidth and delay performance. Moreover, with the directional antenna, the network throughput can be enhanced greatly. Simulation results show our proposed relay node selection algorithm is efficient and valuable.
