Abstract :
For the SINR (signal-to-interference- and-noise-ratio) equation based on the polarization ellipse parameters in partially polarized case, an optimal polarization method called iterative optimal polarization (IOP) is presented. The iterative processes of IOP are described and shown. Simulation results show that the IOP is an effective method for searching the optimal polarization. After several iterations (4-6 steps), the final optimal value and optimal point of the SINR equation can be obtained. The average relative errors between the optimum obtained with IOP and the actual optimum are very small.
