Abstract
This paper proposes a system for supporting community anticrime activities based on the concept of BBS with visual representation. The idea of incorporating visual representation into conventional BBS has been proposed in the development of KeyGraph BBS, which enables discussion participants to share context by referring to the same visual representation (KeyGraph). This paper develops a system for supporting community anticrime activities based on the same concept, in which Google Maps are employed as visual representation for sharing community safety map. This paper introduces the system architecture and reports the effectiveness of the system by analyzing the result of group discussion with using the system.
