Abstract :
In this paper, Petri nets have been used for modeling of the protection systems of power system. By this approach, the processing time of information is reduced and the accuracy of fault detection procedure is increased. Simulation results verifies that Petri nets make possible the statistical analyzing and evaluation of protection systems operation.
