  • Abstract
This paper describes how to calibrate a Self-Calibration Decade Inductive Voltage Divider (S-IVD). The S-IVD consists of windings of a decade main-divider and nine bifilar windings as an essential standard. A commercial Four-Terminal-Pair (4TP) LCR meter is used for measuring the differential vector voltage of the S-IVD. It does not require injection signals for balancing. The S-IVD can be calibrated obtaining a few parts in 108 to in 105 uncertainty at 120 Hz to 1 MHz. Another IVD as a Device Under Test (DUT) can be calibrated by 1:1 direct comparison using the S-IVD.
