Abstract
Bright temperature image reconstruction of synthetic aperture radiometer (SAIR) with uniform circular array (UCA) is studied. After analysis of baseline patter of UCA, an reconstruction algorithm using discrete fourier transform (DFT) and generalized inverse matrix method both is presented. The theoretic highest space resolution of UCA SAIR is analyzed based on derivation of the algorithm. An expression of the optimal normalized radius of UCA and estimation of corresponding radial resolution are presented. The computer simulation results are given out to validate this method. Superresolution capability of the algorithm is shown also.
