Abstract :
According to the problem of flux-weakening difficult in inner PMSM(IPMSM), the reason for the flux-weakening difficulties to adjust speed is presented in this paper. The advantages of the sectional permanent magnet in constant power field flux-weakening is discussed from increasing D-Axis inductance. A model based on the finite element analysis(FEA) is established. The structure of sectional permanent magnet is considered in the model. The influence on the performance of motor is analyzed with permanent magnet segment space. The constant-power field speed range can be improved by increasing the size of the segment space.
