  • Abstract
    A high efficient energy recovery circuit is proposed for PDPs. This energy recovery circuit employs an address voltage source used in an addressing period as the PDP is charged and discharged. As a result, the proposed circuit can reduce power consumption, switching loss, the heat dissipation and the production cost. To verify the operation and features of the proposed circuit, experimental results with a 42-inch standard definition PDP are provided.
