Abstract :
This article provides a novel analytical method of magnetic circuit on Axially-Laminated Anisotropic (ALA) rotor synchronous reluctance motor when the motor is magnetized on the d-axis. To simplify the calculation, the reluctance of stator magnet yoke and rotor magnetic laminations and leakage magnetic flux all are ignored. With regard to the uneven air-gap brought by the teeth and slots of the stator and rotor, the method resolves the problem with the equivalent air-gap length distribution function, and clarifies the magnetic circuit when the stator teeth are saturated or unsaturated. In order to conduct exact computation, the high order harmonics of the stator magnetic potential are also taken into account.
