Abstract :
Broadband wireless access (BWA) technique has attracted great attention in the last mile access industry. In this paper, an effective MAP receiver for concatenated space time block code (STBC) and convolutional code MIMO-OFDM system (denoted as CSCM receiver) for further performance improvement of IEEE wireless MAN-OFDMA system is derived and designed in detail. Simulation results show that the receiver can provide diversity gain and significant coding gain
