Abstract :
A dye laser system tuneable from 540 nm to 670 nm and stabilized to reference iodine saturated absorption resonances is described. The current system allows traceable calibration of a number of visible and near IR HeNe reference frequencies. Evaluation of the system´s stability and accuracy were obtained via a heterodyne intercomparison with a NRC 633 nm iodine stabilized HeNe laser.
