Abstract :
How to make the helix TWTs with wide bandwidth, higher fundamental wave power output, lower harmonic power output, high efficiency and small size is the aim of TWT researches and developments now. This paper describes the simulation results for TWT with different dielectric loading and the helix pitch change. The results show that dielectric shape and pitch change could make TWT wider bandwidth and reduce harmonic power output.
