Abstract :
Determines the density of air by using the following three methods: CIPM-81/91 formula, air buoyancy artefacts and an optical method. A discrepancy of 10/sup -4/ kg/spl middot/m/sup -3/ was observed between the two absolute methods: the CIPM-81/91 formula and the buoyancy artefacts. Future investigations are underway to clarify this difference.
