Abstract :
This paper comprehensively investigates the voltage stability of wind power grid integration, which involves the relationship between voltage stability and wind farm capacity, transient voltage stability with large disturbances from power system, and low voltage ride through capability of wind farm. Moreover, STATCOM and its sizing method are proposed to improve voltage stability of wind farm grid integration. Simulation verifications are provided.
