With the rapid development of computer technology and network technology, a new kind of teaching reference information platform has got mushroom growth in higher education through combining paper resources and network resources. After analyzing the current conditions of obtaining Foreign Language (FL) reference information, the authors point out that a multidirectional, interactive and deep FL teaching reference information support system can be constructed by adopting information management method. Tightly connected with network resources, the system will mainly take effect in making clear the demand and object of system construction; constructing information obtaining channels; improving the availability of information system; and constructing sensitive information feedback system. All mentioned above can drive forward FL teaching reference information obtaining and be supportive to traditional methods.
