Abstract :
Electronic circuits based on nanodevices and quantum effect can be the future of logic circuits design. Today´s technology enables to construct nanodevices that are elementary components of threshold gates, however, constructing threshold gates given arbitrarily Boolean function is still a challenging task, with no efficient algorithms for some gate structures. This paper focuses on Generalised Threshold Gates (GTGs) and Multi Threshold Threshold Gates (MTTGs), giving the overview of threshold circuit synthesis. We present general structure of both circuits and describe ideas of different synthesis algorithms.
