Abstract :
This research was performed to analyze the treeing phenomena with a needle shape void by the discharge luminous quantity and the discharge magnitude. The discharge pulses and discharge luminescence were measured by the original measurement system for measuring the discharge magnitude and the discharge luminous image according to several phase angle area of the applied voltage. The luminous image was digitized to the luminous quantity with a computer after the experiment
