Abstract :
In this paper, the internal control mechanism of excavating face balance system of large slurry shield has been analyzed, the control pattern for excavating face balance studied and the corresponding controller designed for this purpose. Also, computer-based simulation comparison has been made between the fuzzy self-adaptable PID controller designed and the numerical increment PID controller in conjunction with the numerical model for the excavating face balance control system of slurry shield, to get the conclusion that fuzzy self-adaptable PID controller can be better used in the excavating face balance control of large slurry shield.
