Abstract :
In this paper we describe an AC waveform synthesizer based on an overdamped Josephson junction (JJ) array with binary subdivided sections. We used a 10 GHz 8-bit SINIS JJ array chip manufactured by PTB. We developed the software to drive the synthesizer. Preliminary results of synthesis-measurement type experiments are presented in both graphical and table forms.
