Abstract
Summary form only given, as follows. In numerical research of the wave spectrum generated with a monoenergetic electron beam in a plasma it has been shown that a uniform electron beam transforms into bunches. The same takes place in generated waves spectrum (in the wave number regions which are stable in linear approximation): it appears peaks divisible by the resonance frequency which decrease in amplitude with diminishing wave number and are time-pulsing with a bunch oscillation frequency in the potential field of the generated wave. Solutions of the initial nonlinear system of equations which we have found allow us define the main features of the steady state condition of multimode beam-plasma system. It follows from the solution obtained, that the amplitudes of generated oscillations in the short wave limit of spectrum change according to the law m/sup -1/. The phase spectrum /spl phi//sub m/ at the nonlinear stage are linear functions of time.
