An approach for quantifying enterprise value of information (EVI)

This paper offers a method to evaluate the information value of the enterprise in a quantificational way. Firstly, this paper talks about the information value, establishing the method of combination of determining quantity and quality for evaluating EVI. Secondly, according to critical index approach, this essay establishes the index system of constructing EVI evaluation model. Thirdly, incite comments of the cloud theory to calculate the quantized value of the index system of EVI evaluation model. By means of EVI evaluation model, we can quantify the mark of value of information, then determine the required value of information. At last, based on the investigation data from actual enterprise, this paper makes practical calculation to the EVI evaluation model, determining the detailed EVI quantized value.
