            Abstract :
We describe a FDTD method for the quasi-stationary electromagnetic field. An artificial displacement current term is introduced to the Maxwell´ s equation, and the FDTD method is applied to the computational area. Then the source is joined as initial conditions and boundary in the air is dealt with under the quasi-stationary situations. The result of numerical calculation indicates that when a coefficient a is between 0.1 and 0.2 in the time step formula, the agreement between the analytical and numerical solutions seems to be basic satisfactory. So this shows the FDTD method is valid to the quasi-stationary electromagnetic field.
