Abstract :
In this paper, an efficient Iub flow control algorithm in High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) is proposed. The algorithm ensures that the MAC-hs buffer located in the Node-B will never overflow whilst limiting the latency of data in the MAC-hs buffer by- setting a control parameter which can determine the maximum occupied buffer level in the Node-B. By adjusting the parameter the algorithm can meet different demands such as different packet delays and different occupied buffer levels. The dynamic system level simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is highly efficient.
