Abstract
The robustness of genetic algorithm in finding equivalent ideal electric and magnetic dipoles for near field-far field radiation conversion is improved. The process of selection, crossover and mutation is investigated in detail for solving the sticking problem, and the performance of genetic algorithm is evaluated.
