Abstract
Unified power quality conditioner (UPQC) has the function of voltage as well as current harmonic suppression, reactive power compensation. A simple, low cost and high performance controller based on one cycle control is proposed to UPQC. The control method features constant switching frequency operation, minimum reactive and harmonic current generation, and simple analog circuitry. The simulation results verify the performance evaluation of proposed controller.
