  • Abstract
    This paper describes the marriage of two open source tools, namely the policy host configuration system cfengine and the SNMP command line interface scli. By integrating these two open source tools, we are able to use cfengine to configure bridges and wireless access points using a policy retrieved from a central repository and to monitor network devices for the detection of abnormal behaviour.
