Abstract
Shanghai Transportation Information Service Application Grid (STISAG), an intelligent transportation system (ITS), is used to deal with the serious traffic jam in the city. It´s based on service-oriented architecture (SOA), Grid and Web service technology. The system design and some key technical problems are discussed in this paper. The content in this paper not only gives a case study for SOA, but also provides a new and effective solution for ITS.
